Cecil B. Fardoulli

Cecil B.

CECIL B. FARDOULLI (pron: far-dooly) is the name attributed to this music act formed by Australian Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Phill Raymond. The concept includes the performance of original songs written by Phill and selected cover versions of songs by other music artists that have influenced him throughout his career. Drawing upon a pool of professional musicians to accompany him, at times, Cecil B. Fardoulli is primarily an acoustic blues duo but can expand into a trio or quartet.

The music is essentially drawn from blues and blues derivatives and includes songs from various forms of music that Phill has played, performed and been influenced by over the years. ie: Blues, Blues Rock, Rhythm & Blues and contemporary acoustic music styles.

Throughout his music journey he has performed and worked with many local legends in the Australian music industry and with international artists Andy Gibb, Paul Stookey (Peter, Paul & Mary) and Ralph McTell (Streets of London).

In December 2015 he released a debut 6 track CD recorded at Studio 52 in Melbourne Australia with Trevor Carter at the helm. Released to Blues & Roots radio, around the country, it jumped into the December 2015 Australian Blues & Roots Airplay Charts (abarac) at #25 then went on to peak at #10 in the January 2016 charts.

The CD entitled CECIL B. FARDOULLI & THE BIG BOO "A Foot a'Tappin' Boogie" is receiving a steady stream of airplay on Australian and international radio in the UK, Germany, Denmark, Brazil, the USA and Canada.

Rumour has it that there is a second CD in the pipeline. Stay tuned....
