Cecil B. Fardoulli

Cecil B.

CECIL B. FARDOULLI (pron: far-dooly) is the name attributed to this music act formed by Australian Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Phill Raymond. The concept includes the performance of original songs written by Phill and selected cover versions of songs by other music artists that have influenced him throughout his career. Drawing upon a pool of other professional musicians to accompany him, Cecil B. Fardoulli is primarily a solo acoustic blues act but, at times, can expand to become a performing duo, trio or quartet.

The style of music is essentially drawn from the blues genre and also includes songs from various other forms of music that Phill has played, performed and been influenced by over the years. ie: Blues, Blues Rock, Rhythm & Blues and contemporary acoustic music.

Throughout his music journey he has performed and worked with many local legends in the Australian music industry and international artists such as Andy Gibb, Paul Stookey (from Peter, Paul & Mary) and Ralph McTell (Streets of London).

In December 2015 he released a debut 6 track CD recorded at Studio 52 in Melbourne Australia and engineered by Trevor Carter at the helm. Released to Blues & Roots radio around the country it jumped into the December 2015 Australian Blues & Roots Airplay Charts (abarac) at #25 and went on to peak at #10 in the January 2016 charts.

The CD entitled CECIL B. FARDOULLI & THE BIG BOO "A Foot a'Tappin' Boogie" is also receiving a steady stream of airplay on international radio in the UK, Germany, Denmark, Brazil, the USA and Canada.
